Balloons wonderla

Balloons wonderla Colourful balloons flying higher             Amidst the billions underneath Booming to colour under showers           That brings forth rain henceforth Whats that clarity ruling one's charm           Ones queerness in the sense of wind That seldom finds the truth in itself              And chases the quantum being lost. Higher is the flight for fun             Making a kids gasp of time That sheds minute sense of exasperation            Bringing one to steal all worries There comes the clouds so near             The roof under heavens boundaries Paving way for silence to speed            Through the monotony of the flier Questions comes to one deep within            Regarding losing one in the air But the dearth wipes away all that disturbs              And brings power to the human mind All towers I would have seen           Rather seen the wideness of oceans And the particles beneath the intricate humanliness           Giving surp

SMILE

SMILE Multiple transitions a normal self can hold Beyond what hopes and adventure seeks Coming to destiny beyond past Future hidden in treasures hold Breathtaking exercise sentising laughter Where would the curve lasts to Giving a sacred picture beyond falsehood Born ye to rise to hopes despair Sentimising victory over mind's fall It's a smile for one to hold It costs everything for a sick soul to last When it's positivity, it means mirth When it's for passion, it's formal When it's for formality , it's nothing Depending upon the giver and the taker For it's a medicinal cure for a happy heart.      S ANANDHI       31/05/20

Dreaming afar

Dreaming afar Besides the distant stars The moon gaveth perfection Innumerable revolutions the moon takes Around the tempting skies Reverberating with soul seekers It glued the stars to the sky I made a ocean glance in near perfectness And tried to pluck the  stars near my bedside Slowly my dreams ceased me That I was lost to faraway skies at my windowside        S ANANDHI        23/05/20

Drenching soul

Drenching soul I met a traveller in a land afar Who says who knew everything sane He had a soul at giving hands It drenched unwise and made to wise All wise men came to his hut To rename their fate from sadness to happiness He was called as a man with drenching soul For he flew from downness to perfection He then filled other souls with wisdom And named the soul seekers      S ANANDHI       23/05/20

Daily fragrance

Daily fragrance The rose sold it's daily fragrance To the holder with pure satisfaction The man took the flower with utmost care Put it to the hair of his beautiful girl The rose gave it's scent to the head it worn For it did not last for long After a day it was thrown to the dustbin For one days life a rose holds It's not cheap for a human to near a hundred Then he is thrown out under the ground For his daily fragrance worn by his love until the end.    S ANANDHI      23/05/20

It's the choice you make

It's the choice you make Life is one of mildest flowers Dare not to be plucked Not even under one's own will But to reunite with the soul It's nature's choicest fruit Closely laid to the lad's embrace But it takes a little time To taste till its done I wondered at God's justice For he punishes falsehood Never giving any chance to the beholden So good you do, you become wise It's the strongest eyes That catches glimpses around the world In doing wonderous feat By discovering a new land It's a lover's choice For he knew to tame his love Luck playing parts through many births It's the life's thinnest truths It's the bygone war Thats won through deaths of many Then freedom shines And mocks at the enemies land      S ANANDHI       11/05/20

The woman A selfless archer in the direction of love Sure to strike the arrow that trusts A will to forgo difficult phases Of what life holds and soon eases A man you made would stand by thee In all hardships you hide you with glee The children born out of your pain and gain Would stand by your order and vein The role you choose to make one claim Respect that comes out like a painless rain The role model for man's subtle army Whose leader they choose and it is absolutely thats you You stand next to God in all of beauty Of power, the love and of your everlasting duty A teacher in you, you made out of you That teaches all amongst fun and frolic, a game you shoo You are a monk of natures stake For you lead the world full at drape For the painful process in all of your life The gain that nurtures me to become wise The atma in you forgives not the crime To bring happiness your dreams are fine You give up pleasures in wordly norms I would be pleased i

A heavenly dance!

A heavenly dance! Whats up upon the hole in the roof top Stars blinking in the sky Wide I could see flowers yet to blossom It could be in the next morning when the dawn strikes The bees singing and dancing around the hive The butterflies around the flowers tasting the heavenly juice The fishes in bluish waters swimming in the ocean The birds flying in the high sky Am I an evesdroper above the rocks Marvelled at the sound of waters in the falls below What could be the reason for this heavenly dance Where does time carry one to? It is right that one sticks onto the intricacies of nature It is where the whole world dwells upon. You are a nature's soothsayer If you reveal this  heavenly secret.    S ANANDHI     06/05/20

DOWNCAST EYES

DOWNCAST EYES The sun downcast it's shade upon hills Looking pridely at the earth And a downtrodden lass who downcasts her eyes Over the intricacies of her land and folk The intimacy of the sun and lass Shook the masses to infinite revolts The mutiny ends upon itself Giving ceaseless nurtures to the one who bringeth light A soldier turning wise with time For timeless death entraps buried wounds That takes lifes turns to heal Henceforth bringing light to his land and the lass...           S ANANDHI       7/5/20

New version of Me and my Fish Tank

Me and my Fish Tank ************************ With warmth and pleasure is what I do To some fishes caught in nets I put them in a tank adding artificial sea flavour Ask them to beautify my home the same while at sea I give them some munch of green and feed With water droplets they breathe out sending kisses In water where they lay throughout the day Do you smell ocean? I ask them at ease. Few tweets with a little shakes and shines Some gave a chase like twilight years I often wondered at the beauty of the day And seldom went near the fish tank to recollect my past Something said future is so certain I thanked my fishes with all my heart A fish town - the new beauty which lay...      S ANANDHI     1/5/20

A Shooting Star

A Shooting Star Far from my reach In quiet ocean's deep A will to seek The beauty so steep. Surpassing the black clouds With twins of stars A mirage to eyes Reveals a secret path. Is it God's paradise Or guillotine of devil Perhaps a mighty sight For the star shoots   A Shooting Star.       S ANANDHI        19.04.20

Me and my Fish Tank

Me and my Fish Tank ************************ With warmth and pleasure is what I do To some fishes caught in nets I put them in a tank adding artificial sea flavour Ask them to beautify my home the same while at sea I give them some munch of green and feed With water droplets they breathe out sending kisses In water where they lay throughout the day Do you smell ocean? I ask them at ease. Few tweets with a little shakes and shines All went fine when one day The fish tank fell down and crashed Throwing all small fishes here and there The entire sea environment came to a still. It happens to humans too, I thought With the maker above all Would man ever imagine his days in a cage Like days when corona like viruses been at rage.      S ANANDHI     1/5/20

The flower seller

The flower seller Where have you got the charms tonight? To raise your voice so far ,inspite Of the raising days fumes of laughter In the streets along, thats your shelter. What are the flowers you ought to knit? White jasmine, red roses, some flowers in peacock blue. You sing a song full of life That catches even a child to see you yelling so light. Bright blooms that catches one's eyes You are the ones who don't chase one's might Muttering words you choose to say When the whole crowd depends on you being gay. You are so kind hearted not a miser For you don't care for losing one or two Of the flowers you garland so well Iam the knight's queen if I don't forget you so real. You don't care for taboos thrown at you For its your life to sell with pride The pain in you, you don't reveal to one For you leapt your sorrows by your smiling face. I came to you for a quite while So thrilled by your words that charmed  mine I gave you

Sea shells. Conches

Sea shells, conches What's that clinging in my hands Perhaps sea's treasure I hold Some sea shells, conches From the salty seas that made retreat. The colours creamy white With brown and red It holds Imitations of nature's hive. A freedom sound So sweet to ears When it's cling It's a heaven retreat. When you sing on it's mouth It makes the sounds Of seas and waves Telling all stories of treasures withheld. When its held in fours It's a game For all the growing kids Throwing words for fun. It was once a snail's nest The tide that takes no rest Sent the ones to ocean's deep Where no eyes could make a sweep. It's nature's haste To throw more of these Into my hands that play With more of sea shells and conches that lay.      S ANANDHI       28/04/20

The poet who dwells within

The poet who dwells within The poet sings about nature and love And the songs that tune with rhythm He sings about the truth that lasts forever That holds his land in the midst of calamity His optimistic words Fills your heart with ease. Lets see the poet within... The sun rised in the east, and the winds Blew over south to where the travellers lay Strong hearts that pave way for cold nights. A traveller asked the poet "where have you lost your lover"? In the sands of yesteryears is one sorrowful truth. She laid her head on the west Where westners had laid a search for trust. She became a nun they said And made her lovely singing heart to melt. He said, "When thou' don't haste to weed to where pleasure seeks There comes eternity to thy hold". Heart whelmed by his search for human fruits He laid a stretch to mind to one's truth. There comes the wife and merry children All borne to keep him sane and to  give him good health. It&

Mirror on the wall

Mirror on the wall The mirror reflects one's mind To open it for a trifle chance As you watch your picture A reflection that one nurture Where is all the shyness gone To the walls and the wooden rooms What's the beauty that one could see It is the love of oneself it could be The naked truth of one's eyes To seek the beauty of the face exposed. Are my wrinkles a turbulent wind A solitude song unsung Or a history all about until then. All goes to watch the maker Above all he stands and creates God's creation is one to thee To count on  expectations was all about To look at the wall and I would rather seek To hide my face without the mirror at all.        S ANANDHI         22/04/20

A teenager

A  teenager Over the hills and far off mounts He chose to ride by his horse called gray Long days he spent riding through woods Long felt nights in top of trees He went too near kings and castles Sometimes by passing his greet to them He performed his acts with a loud crowd Saying adieu to them for all they bore He came to fields of broken wheat Flowery tales of grandma made retreat Seldom he climbed on top of rocks Keeping his ears to kisses of watery drops Like a playing child he ran to his town To be greeted by all that's sound...       S ANANDHI         21/04/20

The mourning of the trees

The mourning of the trees The winter rocks made a call As the woodcutter takes his axe and makes a fall Beyond the scene of grasses and reaps Where the old wife's tale takes a leap It was for his bread That he made the trees so dread The chucking of trees made a sound For all the trees to grieve and mourn An oak tree fell apart Tearing all ages faced from start At insanity one paves way to God In man's vanity the trees were cut and built All thats strong was made of trees In man's godown all was easy and cheap..       S ANANDHI       21/04/20

The Morning and the afternoon sun

The Morning and the afternoon sun. Morning sun had shown it's dawn Over the fright of the calling storm. What bore my self today But to pour more of love and care. What stayed in the vast home But some dust of sins to poor. What scent is in the air Perhaps some smell of God's garland so. There lay the day at stretch For me to keep safe on such. Then came the afternoon sun It's a whole day of joyful run Here and there everywhere For the bees in the hive so bare. All munch of bread and yam For all village it's the plan. At the strike of the hour Everyone ran to a mirthful shower. It's the day that lays one quiet As it is night time for one not to fright.      S ANANDHI       21/04/20

SitaRama A true lover

A true lover SitaRama An unbecoming bride of luck Beckoned by the spirits he choose An undoing act of pride Beyond what the sane seeks. The pipe's tuning all the day With a will to foresee the end He searched her legprints In the muds she gave a chase. The deer so chaste as like her Cometh to her presence as a mirage Deep stricken plans to steal one's love Of all the man and the devil of one's mind. A tree so sacred worn by thee To chase the wicked out of mind A lone prisoner in enemy's land A saga you choose to keep thee pure. War - the end and the beginning Army made by courtiers so wise Fighting with wounds unheal Bringing all demons to thy hold. The end as humans know Save of love In the midst of all evils And keeps to live the king so high.        To be continued..        S ANANDHI         19/04/20

A Tribute to my grandma

A moarning love song on my grandma Those were the days when you were near by me Those were the days I loved you so much Your heart so much pure and closer to mine; Everything is a past in the present world. But those beautiful moments, those rich days, the glorious past Is still the fuel for my present age. The love we share has no end and nothing was lost, nothing was gained. Your presence was once my guidance- To walk through the world with pleasing self, Your absence has lost me a physical presence, But your remains in my heart are still engulfed and embraced by me. Those were the days when I loved you, Those are the days when I praise you. What the mortal life makes us- Except we love and make others love us. Being immortal is something very nice, As you are in my heart; Very close to me, perhaps very true You are an everlasting soul; You captured my heart that I sink in your pure love Dreaming your innocent face; Crying for the days when you were so painful

THE MIRTH TREE

The mirth tree In mime of laughter Praises branches For living so long. Happy birds Singing in serenity Clutches the twigs To make it's home. A fruit so ripe For squirrel so while Bite its tail To foresee more. A trembling lad With madness he loves Seeks the tree To save him from foes. Thunderous roars - beats The clouds apart Only the branches to hold The tree from lightening stroke....       S ANANDHI        17/04/20

BEAUTY

Beauty In the cradle of my heart I bore her To swim across the oceans Of no ends, with love. When she was a baby In the arms of her mom I shut neighbour's eyes Upon the iron of my soul. When she reached ten I rose to awaken her spirits To free her from Fears of devil. As she reached teens I thought to teach The weapon of self To defend her from bad. When she was married I cried like a beggar Of not to leave my heart Barren of all that I saved until then. When I saw her little one With reflection of my own As love lasts forever In all the beauty I lay...      S ANANDHI       17/04/20

THROW PAST TO DUST

Throw past to dust My humble mind In sense of wind Sat in the corner Unable to rewind. There were fire And workplace too No tortures of self In the awaited restlessness. I stood up to the sky Viewed the vicinity so clear Upon the boundaries of wall Built across the broken souls. Is this the curse of hour To seek the truth Beyond the future of times A path I never choose. After wind cameth rain Beauty sat in the cradle Nature's song of praise Perhaps a lullaby for the soul. I got marvelled Seeing the stars arise Upon the roofs Of my broken walls. What does the day say In the shadows of the past Thrown to the bin of dust With future stricken to heart. It's the star of life If one chooses today- Better, tomorrow best With past to be buried in muds..       S ANANDHI       17/04/20

THE KASHMIRI !

The Kashmiri !  When I went to kashmir last winter The first one to welcome me was a child - An enduring girl in white salwar kameez; She was the only child of the town's guard. Nothing special about the town, she said Teeming with the spirit of an experienced native, I stepped on the boat, which she rode Dipping the oar in the bluish waters, she twinkled at me. I became more pensive as I neared the guard's house, Oh papa, deko koun aaya ! She uttered Her father with a white kurtha welcomed me I was taken to the guest house, not few yards. Morning as I woke up, the tea was ready The little girl decorated beautiful flowers around the table, She said the morning sun had stole it's way, And appears not twice a week. When I asked about her mother she was rather quiet I changed the topic "please take me out "! I wore my swetter and she started to mutter, About people becoming victims of ' terrorism '. This is for what even I ha

THE WIND !

THE WIND ! It was a green World Everything was green Including the revolution ! The shadow of my tree was dark Between all the light shades of grass. For a great ruler rode wildly - The wind blowed heavily The grasses danced towards their wish My coat swirled and my cap swimmed. It was much an early hour to come out There was a bark of an old tree Coloured with thickest black I trembled it would fall, My memories rolled backward When I was a child And the tree saved my parents from a fall. So there was a respect for not to cut The days are over, for all its branches died The time is now for it to die By the wind , that was so while !!         S ANANDHI        16.12.95

THE PASSING CLOUDS

THE PASSING CLOUDS ! It was a serene early morning , I got up My house was in deep sleep I supposed ; Everything was in peace including the way for my journey, I stepped my feet enjoying the beauty of the day. The valleys beside me made a hearty welcome The flowers swinged on to joy I turned to a bird, if you could believe ! The sudden prosperity made me to fly above. Above the snow mountains I flew, Below me I could see only green and blue ; Could I round the world atleast once , I thought ! But the climate was really cold, The wind started to show it's wilderness All the clouds beckoned the sun - It was a nice day I thought, for the sun came out God of the universe as myths proclaim I bowed to his feet as a messenger from earth. Soon the planets came out one by one It was my earth I saw, was the third. There was a serious talk about the eclipse The earth showed how the people enjoyed it But some showed their hatred towards it. Soon the Earth handed over a

THE BURIAL GROUND

THE BURIAL GROUND. " Hey, this is the way " , yelled my friend Indicating the blind end. Out of fun we stepped on the stones To witness the ground Were people are buried How could man feel his last breath ? It's a question kept my heart chilling. Suddenly the church bell tolled Some people came carrying a man He had a child and a lovely wife The person present in home for forty years Has taken leave for the rest of the years. How could they bear the void ? Would they moan ? Yes ! And how long ? For a month or two ? Then they would rise and strive, For their bread and shelter I found the living persons Left the dead one among the lived A sudden relief came to me It's not a colony of the dead, But only a pavilion of the lived What a fantastic recovery From the fear, from the vacuum ! Aye, this is the way As I shouted , my friend Wondered at my pitch...             S ANANDHI             11/8/95

ON A TRIP TO DREAMLAND

ON A TRIP TO DREAMLAND It was a bitter cold night And I saw a horrible sight The mosquitoes in my room were having a good meal Of my blood that was very chill ; The thunder stroke a frightful alarm And I kept shivering calm ; There came a plane violently And I sat into it silently ; Off we went through the window To see the world below ; We came to the  grave of Alexander Whose skeleton was still lying colder; He asked - I conquered the world But God conquered me, Could you conquer death The only thing that overcame him; Then far I traveled And I was marvelled At the sight of the world Full of deaths Every now and then What man achieves - Only violence and tears; Would man ever live in peace. I saw many wonders Built by our nation builders ; Soon the plane carried me to my home And I said to myself to live in peace Wake her up , said my Mother to my only brother And he poured a bucket of water on my face And I Kicked him and he did so, It was a reign

IN THE SPIRIT OF LIFE

IN THE SPIRIT OF LIFE Birds were flying towards the sky And the tempted man worries Oh! What a peaceful life To go round the world In search of pleasure To rest under the arch Of multi coloured rainbow, Search for food and play till dusk With no sobs and sorrows assailed till death To escape from foes is his aim To build a nest is his work To feed his young ones is his duty The man thinks.. Is this a jubilant life ? This cannot be I suppose God fond of him created man! Not fond of man created death! Not fond of death, created rebirth When can I experience life.. The clouds in the sky beckoned Oh, man the joyest! What a peaceful life is thee! To experience till death I have no victory Nor defeat, Only to pour out rain I roam about, My life is too long But too sad to see you die...                    S ANANDHI                     6/12/94

A TRIBUTE TO MY INDIAN LEADERS

A TRIBUTE TO MY INDIAN LEADERS Disaster prevailed throughout the country All the strains longed for freedom There was no breath of glory A child was born only to be buried Except some eminents in the spirit of oneness Followed the path of non - violence Amidst the sea of blood throughout That stayed in the massive Indian soil They crossed the barriers Built by the British warriors Sure to get independence Was their ambition in life And handed to our veins the fruits of freedom Brought back the longed peace Shaped Bharat to hither They were each other's brother Let Mother India Sing about them for ever...                  S ANANDHI                   18/8/94

NATURE'S BEAUTY

NATURE'S BEAUTY I wandered in the lonely wood And wondered at the nature's bold The soul in me remained quiet Unable to express the love for the sight What I saw was a green silk Throughout the village and the clouds like milk My eyes stretched far To see the beauty more My mind was bare To engulf the swiftness of the air There was a sudden movement of the cloud That I felt the cold As Iam sold To this nature which changes from time to time.             S ANANDHI              12.4.94

BEADS

BEADS A sole representative of nineteenth century, She sat in a corner counting beads. She felt her weary life had led to dismay, Unforgettable happenings come to her mind. The days she had enjoyed in her life The crucial period when she lost her husband, The strengthening bridge lost one of its balance. She prayed God to take her away But that is hypocritical to attain peace. On every night she dreamt of death. All her dreams may come true But she would leave a mark of life - When she winds up her world And her beads...                   S. ANANDHI                 25/11/95 (first

The Child Labour

The Child Labour Their terrible eyes - Had dropped down by tears. The grief of their life, The agony behind their work, Had made theirs veins To lose it's strength. After their inhabitant childhood - The force towards their painful life. Their period of happiness - Is no more to come. Their pleasure in life - Is no more to exist. There is nothing to contemplate, All is against their fate. Intoxication of their innocence Would make them to lose their sense. Could they recover from this disease, Are there any medicines to inactivate it. This disease of abandoned childhood, Had spread the world throughout. Only adding the innocent list upto mist!!!                  S ANANDHI                  30/10/95

My Mother!!!

My Mother I saw in my mother, the love for other She was as soft as a feather to lead us hither. Morning she rose with a bloomy face She opened the door to see the gloomy sun. Her face reminded me of the holy angel To make me fresh for the oncoming days, Her hands replied me the bravo aims of her And her legs told me of her mighty path. The eyes so bright like a pair of plum, And hair so dark thethered like a rope, Asked me to climb the unique of all. Though life is a struggle, it is light with her To seek the modern world bound by her. As people say mind is a monkey I would say life with her is happy She erases our solitude and fills us with bliss, In order to make our future to glitter. Such a beautiful loving mother Is a need for every other In this earth of peace To show my respect through her life forever!!!               S ANANDHI                  19.3.94

A Bird's views

When the tree bears it's fruit, I gripped my feet in a branch - And sipped a fruit with my beak. The ego in my eyes telling freedom Feet it's strength, feather's the motherhood. Slowly i released my feather's high in the air When beauty sync'd with strength, And the gripped ground telling stories About my ancestors. My flight in the lake above With water droplets upon me- I fished in bluish waters, And a green neighbourhood. My flight above with all below me, Holding sheaths of freedom above me. I slowly touched green waters with thick mud, Made me to stick to nature's bonds. I then stood in a rock, spying to prey Upon distance lost to perfection. In a green grass with fresh dews - Made me to sink in pleasure. Red flowers in a beautiful branch, Danced with me in a jolly mood. Slowly my siblings came near Swaying in the air, And pushing me for fun...

MAY FLOWER

On a beautiful May day The flower blossomed More flowers made the count Adding scent to air, Mixing a flair to love nature. All living souls jumped to see The heights of a giant tree Holding may flowers, Like heights of human sacrifices To reach heights beyond strength. More may flowers drooped to the ground. Unable to bear it's weight The tree shook the flowers, Till the scent reached my window pane I choose to be nature's lover. More i dreamt of nature I began to love it. Love exists in all of life Nature's feel made me to protest And to sing beyond my voice About the beauty of the May flower..
